Editor's Note: A brief leave of absence

Issue 13 is finally up, and I think it's one of the best issues we've ever put out. The second in our series of director retrospectives focuses on Richard Fleischer.

With this issue, The Film Journal is going on a brief hiatus (hopefully no more than a year), as we prepare for our move to Chicago.
